Work with us
Advertise on CoffeeGearGuides
We work with a small number of coffee brands, roasters, equipment makers, and cafes through paid placements. It is how you reach our readers in India and the USA, and it is the only commercial route we offer.
Everything paid is labelled, automatically, and it sits alongside our editorial picks rather than replacing them. We do not publish unpaid guest posts, so a sponsored placement is the only way onto this site from the outside.

Who you will reach
CoffeeGearGuides is a specialist coffee gear publication. We review espresso machines, grinders, and manual brewers for buyers in two markets: India and the USA.
Our readers are high-intent. Most arrive while researching a specific purchase, so a well-placed sponsored post reaches people who are ready to spend on coffee gear.
That makes us a natural fit for coffee brands, roasters, equipment makers, and accessory sellers who want qualified attention rather than empty impressions.
We also work with cafes and coffee shops, who can take a sponsored entry inside the city guide for their own town as well as a standalone post.
What is for sale, and what is not
We would rather be blunt about this than have a conversation end in disappointment. The line is simple and it does not move.
Available
- A dedicated sponsored post, written by you or by us
- A sponsored entry inside a relevant guide or city roundup
- Links to your own site, marked rel="sponsored"
- Product, brand, roastery, and cafe placements
- Placement in our newsletter alongside the post
- A permanent URL, indexed and kept live
Never for sale
- A position among the editorial picks, which are chosen on merit
- A higher rank for anything we selected ourselves
- A better rating, or the removal of a criticism
- A review presented as independent when it was paid for
- An unlabelled placement of any kind
The reason is practical as much as ethical. A ranked list is read as an independent judgement, so selling a position in one would misrepresent it however clearly it was labelled. That is the specific practice the FTC Endorsement Guides in the USA and the CCPA endorsement guidelines in India treat as deceptive, and it is also the fastest way to lose the audience you are paying to reach.
How a paid placement is labelled
Disclosure is built into the site, not left to whoever writes the post. When a piece is marked as sponsored, four things happen automatically:
- A disclosure panel appears above the article, before any of its content, naming the sponsor.
- The word Sponsored is added to the article’s own byline and to every card that links to it, on the homepage and in search, so it is identifiable before a reader clicks.
- Outbound links in the post carry
rel="sponsored", as Google’s link policies require of paid links. - The post stays outside every ranked guide on the site.
You do not have to ask for any of this, and it cannot be switched off for an individual campaign.
Two formats, both paid
A sponsored post is a standalone article about your brand, published on its own URL and kept live.
A sponsored entry puts you inside a relevant guide, such as a city coffee guide or a product roundup, marked as advertising and sitting alongside the picks we chose ourselves.
There is no third, free option. We do not run unpaid guest posts, and we do not accept contributed articles, link exchanges, or free write-ups in return for exposure. Please do not send a draft on that basis; we will decline it.
Pricing is shared on request. We do not list our rates here, because the right number depends on the format, the links, and the campaign. Ask us and we will send the current details.
How we label what you buy
Disclosure is built into the site, not left to whoever writes the post, and it cannot be switched off for a campaign. That protects you as much as us: undisclosed advertising is what regulators pursue.
- A sponsored post opens with a disclosure panel naming you, is marked Sponsored in its byline and on every card and search result that links to it, and carries
rel="sponsored"on its outbound links. - A sponsored entry is marked Sponsored at the top of the entry and again in the guide’s summary list, says plainly that you paid to be included, and the guide carries a notice above the list.
What a sponsored post includes
Every sponsored post is written to the same standard as the rest of the site. It should read like a genuine, useful article, not a press release.
- One or two contextual links in the body, marked with the sponsored attribute as Google and the FTC require.
- A clear Sponsored label at the top of the post, so readers always know it is a paid placement.
- Natural anchor text, never exact-match commercial keywords or hidden links.
Handled this way, your campaign stays compliant with Google’s guidelines, and both sides are protected.
A few firm limits
Some things stay off the table, whatever the budget:
- No Amazon affiliate links inside sponsored content. Those links are yours to keep; ours are reserved for editorial.
- No links to gambling, adult, illegal, or high-risk financial and supplement sites.
- No thin or AI-generated copy, and no cloaking, redirects, or hidden links.
We may also decline a campaign, however well funded, if the topic does not fit a coffee audience.
What makes a good fit
The best sponsored posts come from partners who care about the reader as much as the link. A few things make a campaign easy to say yes to:
- A product or service that genuinely fits coffee at home, from beans to brewers to accessories.
- A clear topic and angle, so the post earns its place rather than reading like an advert.
- Honest claims we can stand behind, with a source for any specific figure.

Frequently asked questions
Do you accept free guest posts?
No. We do not publish unpaid guest posts, and we do not accept free contributions of any kind. Every outside article on this site is a paid, clearly labelled sponsored post. If you would like to appear here, the sponsored route is the only one.
How much does a sponsored post cost?
Rates are shared on request. Pricing depends on the format, the placement, and the links involved, so we send the current details when you reach out through the contact page.
Will my links be dofollow?
No. Paid links carry the sponsored attribute, as Google requires. We do not sell plain dofollow links, because that breaks Google’s guidelines and puts both sides at risk.
Can I pay to be added to one of your guides?
Yes. A sponsored entry places you inside a relevant guide, marked Sponsored at the top of your entry and again in the summary list. It is advertising and it is presented that way. What it does not do is place you among the picks we chose on merit, or reorder them. Those positions signal our own judgement, so they stay editorial.
Will paying change what you write about me?
No. We will not raise a rating, remove a criticism, or reword an existing verdict for money. A sponsored entry buys presence on the page, not a different opinion.
Can I include Amazon affiliate links?
No. Affiliate links are reserved for our own editorial. Your sponsored links can point to your brand or product page instead.
Do you accept AI-generated content?
No. Every post must be written and edited by a person. We decline copy that reads as machine-generated.
Which coffee topics do you cover?
Anything in the coffee space: espresso machines, grinders, brewers, beans, and accessories, for readers in India and the USA.
