Where we quote a number of public reviews, that figure is the size of a business’s public review base on a single platform on the date shown at the top of the guide. Review counts and scores move constantly, and the same business often sits differently on different platforms, which is why we do not publish a combined star rating.

Rankings are our editorial opinion. They are not a measurement, a certification, or a statement of fact about any business, and they should not be read as one.

A guide may also include paid entries, which are always marked Sponsored. Those businesses paid to appear. They are not ranked by the criteria described in that guide, and everything else in the guide was chosen by us and is unpaid.

Details about independent businesses change faster than any guide can. Hours, addresses, ownership, menus, and prices may all have changed since we published, and some businesses close without notice.
